Import File Explained
There are three worksheets in the RPMWare ES Import Template Excel Workbook:
- Import: The data-entry sheet for the brand(s) you will be importing.
- Valid Attributes: A detailed list of valid Year, Make, Model, Submodel, etc. combinations.
- Countries: A list of valid country codes.
The table below describes each of the columns in the Import worksheet. You should add your products to this worksheet. The other worksheets are for reference only.
BrandName Optional Reference field to assist in building your load file. This data will NOT be imported into RPMWare. |
BrandId RequiredId corresponding to the Brand you created. To determine the Id navigate to the Product Group in the RPMWare Product Manager. The Id is listed with the Brand details. |
GroupName Optional Reference field to assist in building your load file. This data will NOT be imported into RPMWare. |
GroupId RequiredId corresponding to the Product Group you created. To determine the Id navigate to the Product Group in the RPMWare Product Manager. The Id is listed with the Product Group details. |
PartNumber Required Manufacturer's part number. |
MSRP Optional Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. |
Jobber Optional Manufacturer's Jobber Price. |
MAP Optional Manufacturer's Minimum Advertised Price. |
StartYear Required Start Year for the Vehicle application you are entering. If the part you are entering is a Universal part, enter 0 . |
EndYear Required End Year for the Vehicle application you are entering. If the part you are entering is a Universal part, enter 0 . |
Make Required Make of the vehicle application. Only one Make per row. Acceptable Values: Acura , Ford , Mazda (Full list in Valid Attributes worksheet) |
Model Required Model of the vehicle application. Only one Model per row. Acceptable Values: Integra , F-150 , Golf (Full list in Valid Attributes worksheet) |
Submodel Optional See Notes SubModel of the vehicle application Acceptable Values: Type S , GTI (Full list in Valid Attributes worksheet) |
Cyl Optional See Notes Number of Cylinders of the vehicle application Acceptable Values: H4 , V8 (Full list in Valid Attributes worksheet) |

VehicleNotes Optional Notes pertaining to the Vehicle the item fits. All notes must be separated by a semicolon ; . Example: AWD; 5Speed; Excl ABS; Coupe |
ItemNotes Optional Notes pertaining to the Item. Usually indicates specifics of an item. All notes must be separated by a semicolon ; . If an Item is Universal, ItemNotes should act as a short description of the item itself. Example: Complete Set; Incl Hardware; Stainless Steel |
Specs Optional Name/Value pairs that specify attributes of the Item. Specs must be entered as such: Spec: Value; . Each Spec must be separated by a semicolon ; . Example: Color: Red; Material: Aluminum; Axle: Front |
ItemWeight Optional Weight specific to the shippable PartNumber. If no ItemWeight is specified the PartNumber will default to the Group's weight. |
Length Optional Length of the item's shipping box in inches. Acceptable Values: 1 , 2.2 , etc. |
Width Optional Width of the item's shipping box in inches. Acceptable Values: 1 , 2.2 , etc. |
Height Optional Height of the item's shipping box in inches. Acceptable Values: 1 , 2.2 , etc. |
COO Optional The Country of Origin for the item. Acceptable Values: US , CA , JP (Full list in Countries worksheet) |
ItemLevelGTIN Optional The GTIN (UPC) for the item. Note: Most items specify ItemLevelGTIN or PackageLevelGTIN , not both. |
PackageLevelGTIN Optional The GTIN (UPC) for the item's package Note: Most items specify ItemLevelGTIN or PackageLevelGTIN , not both. |
PartTypeId Optional Auto Care Association internal reference to the Product Classification Database (PCdb) used in generating PIES documents. |
EXPICodes Optional Auto Care Association internal reference to the Product Classification Database (PCdb) used in generating PIES documents. |

- If the Item you are entering is Universal or fits all possible entries – leave blank.
- If the item you are entering fits more than one possible entry – use a semicolon
